7.6-magnitude quake hits Caribbean Sea, US revokes tsunami alert

An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 rocked the Caribbean Sea, southwest of the Cayman Islands on Saturday. The US National Tsunami Warning Center had issued a tsunami alert for Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, which was later revoked. Tsunami warnings for Cuba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua and the Cayman Islands had also been issued earlier.
