7 comeback wins have been recorded in World Cup final history

As many as seven comeback victories have been recorded in previous 22 FIFA World Cup finals. West Germany were the most recent to do it, overturning a deficit against the Netherlands to win the 1974 final 2-1. Six of the seven comebacks came in the tournament's earlier decades, including two by Brazil in 1958 and 1962.
