7 injured as fighter jet crashes on US aircraft carrier in South China Sea

Seven sailors were injured after a US F-35 fighter jet crashed on the deck of a US aircraft carrier in South China Sea during a routine flight operation. "The pilot safely ejected from the aircraft and was recovered via US military helicopter," said the US Pacific Fleet. Three sailors were taken to Manila for treatment.
