7 killed, 30 hospitalised after consuming spurious liquor in dry Gujarat

Seven people were killed and 30 were hospitalised after drinking spurious liquor in Gujarat's Bhavnagar district, the police said. The police have detained 12 people so far, while a case has been registered against 21 people in connection with the incident. Notably, Gujarat is a dry state where the manufacture, sale and consumption of alcohol are banned.
