7 killed in Israeli strike on Lebanon, deadliest attack since June truce

Seven people were killed after an Israeli strike in a village in Lebanon on Saturday, Lebanese state media said. Israeli military said it struck Hezbollah infrastructure overnight in what it described as a security zone in southern Lebanon, in response to actions against its soldiers. The attack was among the deadliest since Lebanon accepted a US-mediated peace deal in June.
