7-month pregnant wife beaten to death by husband over domestic row

A 24-year-old woman, around seven months pregnant, was allegedly beaten to death with a wooden stick by her husband during a domestic dispute in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. Her mother-in-law was also injured while trying to intervene. Police took the husband into custody and sent the woman's body for post-mortem as the investigation continues.
