7 new Omicron cases confirmed in Maharashtra, total cases reach 12 in India

The total cases of Omicron variant of COVID-19 reached 12 in India after seven more cases were confirmed in Maharashtra on Sunday. Four persons who returned from foreign tours and three of their close contacts tested positive for Omicron variant in Maharashtra. Including the seven new cases, a total of eight cases of Omicron variant have been reported in Maharashtra.
