7 platforms face action for selling explosive substances, 3,940 sellers delisted

Central Consumer Protection Authority took action against seven online platforms including IndiaMART and Justdial over sale and listing of hazardous explosive substances, leading to delisting of 3,940 sellers. IndiaMART accounted for 3,092 sellers while Justdial accounted for 206. Two platforms faced a total penalty of ₹30 lakh while proceedings against IndiaMART and Justdial are continuing.
