7 workers killed, 14 injured after landslide at tunnel in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli

At least seven workers were killed and 14 others were injured on Thursday after water and debris entered an under-construction tunnel following a landslide at the site in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team, Indo-Tibetan Border Police and Indian Army teams carried out the rescue operation. Injured workers have been admitted to the hospital.
