71% Indians non-vegetarian, finds govt survey

According to a nationwide survey by the Registrar General of India, the percentage of non-vegetarians in India was 71%. The survey was conducted among people aged above 15 years in 2014. The number fell by 4% from 2004, when the non-vegetarians in the country stood at 75%. People are reportedly being seen switching to a vegetarian diet for health reasons.
