71-year-old woman becomes oldest contestant at Miss Texas USA

At the age of 71, Marissa Teijo made history as the oldest contestant to ever compete in Miss Texas USA pageant, according to the organisation. Another contestant, Aarieanna Ware, was crowned the winner. The Miss Universe organisation recently changed rules to be more inclusive by removing age limits for contestants vying for the crown this year.
