71-yr-old man undergoes robotic-assisted surgery at Navi Mumbai hospital

A 71-year-old man underwent robotic-assisted surgery for treating bladder cancer at Apollo Hospital in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday. The surgery was carried out to remove his urinary bladder and prostate gland. "The advantages of robotically-assisted surgery are that it's minimally invasive and enables high surgical accuracy," a senior doctor at Apollo Hospital said. The man's condition is now stable.
