72 killed after airstrike on gold mine along Sudan-Egypt border: Report

About 72 people have reportedly been killed in an airstrike on a gold mine along the Sudan-Egypt border. Sudanese rights group The Emergency Lawyers said Egyptian military aircraft carried out the attack. The strikes come amid border tensions, with Egyptian guards accusing Sudanese prospectors of crossing unmarked boundary to mine near sites operated by Egyptian companies, Moneycontrol reported.
