720-foot asteroid approaching towards Earth at 40,000-kmph speed

A 720-foot asteroid is approaching towards Earth at a speed of 40,000 kmph. The asteroid, which is named 2024 ON, is expected to pass close to Earth on September 15 (Sunday). The asteroid was first detected by USA space agency NASA’s Near-Earth Object Observations Programme and it has been under close surveillance since.
