75% student attendance; 7-hr duty for teachers in Odisha colleges

Odisha's higher education department on Friday issued a notification making 75% attendance mandatory for all students of government and aided non-government colleges, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the end-term examinations. The notification further directed all teachers of the colleges to be on duty for at least seven hours for all working days.
