78,000 Samsung chip workers to each get ₹3.27-crore bonus after firm's deal with union

Samsung Electronics will distribute about 40 trillion won ($26.6 billion) to chip employees as a bonus for this year after striking a deal with labor unions to avert a strike. On an average, 78,000 chip workers would get $340,000 (₹3.27 crore) bonus each. Under the deal, chip workers will receive 50% ​of their annual salary as a regular cash bonus.
