78-year-old man on bike falls in pit dug by Hyd water board, dies

A 78-year-old man on a motorcycle died after he fell into a pit which was dug by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board for a drainage pipeline, the police said on Tuesday. It had given the contract to Ayyappa Private Ltd. A case of negligence has been filed against people from the water board and the company.
