7-year-old Indian-origin Moksha Roy wins UK PM’s Points of Light award
Seven-year-old Moksha Roy of Indian origin has been honoured with the British Prime Minister’s Points of Light award for her sustainability efforts. Roy started volunteering for a United Nations' sustainability initiative against microplastic pollution when she was three years old. Deputy British PM Oliver Dowden said, "Her school no longer uses plastic glitter, confetti or plastic art supplies."
