7yr jail proposed for sharing child porn on WhatsApp: Report

The government has reportedly proposed up to seven years in jail without bail for people who share child pornography on chat apps like WhatsApp. The proposed rules also make it mandatory for anyone who gets a child porn video to report it to the authorities. Further, failure to alert authorities about the video will result in hefty fines.
