8 killed in Moshi building collapse near Pune, 14 people rescued

The death toll in the Moshi waste processing unit collapse rose to eight and 14 people stuck inside have been rescued, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Vijay Suryawanshi said. He added that one person is missing and around 15 excavators, including specialised demolition machines, are engaged in a search operation. The building collapsed after a mound of garbage fell on it.
