8 more birds from India in IUCN 'Red List'

In a recent 'Red List' of birds released by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) for 2015, eight more birds from India have been included as threatened species. This increases India's total count to 180 bird species with new additions like the Eurasian Oystercatcher. This threat to birds is reportedly increasing due to loss of wetlands and grasslands.
