8 pharma units polluting Hyderabad's outskirts: CPCB

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has filed a report in the National Green Tribunal (NGT) against eight pharmaceutical units for allegedly polluting the outskirts of Hyderabad. The CPCB found that the companies were discharging untreated waste into the water. In March, the NGT asked CPCB regional office in Chennai to inspect the units to submit a factual report.
