8 tree-fall incidents recorded due to rain in Pune on Sept 7: PMC

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) tweeted on Thursday that eight tree-fall incidents were reported on September 7 as the city witnessed continuous rainfall. The civic body added that no one was injured in the incidents, however, two of the trees fell on four-wheelers and damaged the vehicles. Earlier, India Meteorological Department issued a 'yellow' alert for Pune till September 11.
