8 workers killed as truck hits tempo on Nagpur-Mumbai Expressway

Eight women labourers were killed, and a few others were injured after a speeding truck crashed into a stationary tempo on Nagpur-Mumbai Expressway in Maharashtra's Jalna on Wednesday, police said. The victims, who had just finished their day’s work, were inside the tempo parked in a side lane when a truck suddenly changed lanes and rammed into it from behind.
