8-year-old boy dies by suicide after sister takes away phone in UP

An eight-year-old boy allegedly died by suicide after an argument with his nine-year-old sister over a mobile phone in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun. According to the family, an argument broke out between the siblings after the sister took the phone away from her brother while watching reels. Upset over this, the eight-year-old went into a room and allegedly took the step.
