8-year-old boy injured during 'Pushpa 2' screening declared brain dead

The eight-year-old boy who was injured in a stampede at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre ahead of 'Pushpa 2' screening is brain dead, City Police Commissioner CV Anand said. The damage occurred due to "lack of oxygen supply during the stampede", he added. The stampede took place on December 4 as large crowds gathered at the theatre ahead of Allu Arjun's visit.
