Rare pink grasshopper spotted by 8-year-old UK photographer

Jamie, an eight-year-old award-winning photographer from the UK, has shared a video of a rare pink grasshopper. "There's like 1% of people who see pink grasshoppers in their lifetime. So, I am so lucky to be able to see it," she said. The grasshopper's pink colour is due to a genetic mutation called erythrism, which causes overproduction of red pigment.
