80% PSU stocks surge 10-75% since PM's 'invest in PSUs' remark

After PM Narendra Modi remarked in the Parliament on August 10 that stock market enthusiasts should invest in PSUs which the Opposition criticises, shares of 80% of 55 PSUs have surged between 10% and 75%, CNBC-TV18 reported. Shares of MMTC have recorded the highest surge, at over 78%. Shares of GMDC have surged 56% and SCIL's shares have surged 39%.
