81 artists condemn Berlin Film Festival on its 'silence' on Gaza

At least 80 film industry figures, including Oscar-winning actors Javier Bardem and Tilda Swinton, condemned the Berlin International Film Festival for its "institutional silence" on the ongoing Gaza crisis. The open letter also slammed the fest for censoring artists who oppose "Israel's ongoing genocide". This comes after Wim Wenders, the fest's jury president, refused to comment on "politics".
