81-yr-old midnight snapper found in Australia becomes oldest tropical reef fish

An 81-year-old midnight snapper caught off the coast of Western Australia has taken the title of the oldest tropical reef fish recorded anywhere in the world. The discovery was made as part of a new study to find out how changing ocean temperatures might affect the biology of these fish, and others like them.
