89-carat yellow diamond worth ₹90 crore unearthed in Africa

An 89-carat yellow diamond worth ₹90 crore has been found in Lesotho's Mothae mine in Africa by mining company Lucapa from an unexplored area. Lucapa owns 70% of the discovered gem while the Lesotho government, which declared independence from the UK in 1966, owns the rest of it. In May, Lucapa recovered a 25-carat yellow diamond from the same area.
