9 injured in clashes in Pune over Congress leader's Tipu-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj remarks

BJP and Congress workers clashed in Pune over Congress leader Harshwardhan Sapkal's Tipu Sultan-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj remarks. Three Congress workers, two BJP workers, two police personnel and two journalists sustained minor injuries during the incident which took place on Sunday, the police said. Notably, Sapkal had called Tipu Sultan "great warrior" like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
