9 killed in lightning strikes in 24 hours in Bihar

At least nine people were killed in 24 hours in lightning strikes in three districts of Bihar, officials said on Tuesday. The state government announced an ex gratia of ₹4 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased, an official statement showed. Three women of the same family were killed in the lightning strikes in the Banka district.
