9 other worlds could spot Earth using human-made methods

A Europe-based study suggests that a possible alien observer might be able to detect Earth using our own exoplanet-discovering methods. Researchers found that at least nine exoplanets are ideally placed to observe transits of Earth around the Sun. Astronomers have discovered several exoplanets, by studying dips in their host star's brightness as the planet passes in front of it.
