9 people dead, 3 missing as car falls into canal in Haryana

Nine people, including five women and a toddler, died after vehicle they were travelling in plunged into Bhakra canal in Haryana's Fatehabad, the police said. The driver of the vehicle and an 11-year-old boy were rescued while three people are still missing. The accident occurred at Sardarewala village in Ratia on Friday night due to dense fog in the area.
