9 Youth Congress workers granted bail in shirtless protest case

A Delhi court granted bail to nine Indian Youth Congress workers who were arrested in connection with the shirtless protest at AI Summit. The court stated that the protest constituted "symbolic political critique" and pre-trial detention could "elicit pre-emptive punishment". "No evidence discloses property defacement or delegate panic; exit was orderly via escort," the court said on the protest.
