90% of killers are men and so are 70% of victims: Henderson

Social scientist Rob K. Henderson said on the podcast that about 90% of murderers worldwide are men, mostly young, and 70% of victims are men, a pattern also seen in chimpanzees. Killers are usually slightly younger than their victims, possibly because they are ambitious upstarts who envy men just ahead of them—men whose positions seem attainable, he said.
