918 autos lose licence for refusing fares in Mumbai, Thane

The Regional Transport Office (RTO) has revoked the licences of 918 auto drivers in Maharashtra's Mumbai and Thane for refusing fares, officials said on Wednesday. This is the first time the department took action for such an offence, they added. The drivers won't be able to procure another licence anywhere in the country since everything is now online, officials said.
