92-foot dinosaur found in China could be the largest of its kind

A colossal fossil from south China has revealed Tongnanlong zhimingi, a mamenchisaurid sauropod that may have reached 28 metres. First excavated in 1998, the newly analysed remains include limbs, vertebrae and a shoulder blade over 1.8 metres long. Researchers say its vast, air-filled neck bones and record-breaking shoulder structure suggest it could be the largest mamenchisaurid ever found.
