922 kg of sweets unsafe for consumption destroyed in Delhi ahead of festive season

Delhi's Food Safety Department destroyed 922 kg of sweets and dairy products during festive-season inspections at Nihal Vihar and Mori Gate Khoya Mandi. Officials destroyed 402 kg of food items, including rasgullas and milk cake, at Nihal Vihar, while 520 kg of khoya and chhena were destroyed at Mori Gate. Products were found abandoned, spoiled, and emitting a foul smell.
