93,000 women were reported missing in Maharashtra in 2 years: Govt data

Over 93,000 adult women were reported missing in Maharashtra over the last two years, the state government informed the Assembly in a written reply. In 2024, a total of 45,662 adult women were reported missing across the state and 30,877 of them were traced. In 2025, 48,278 women were reported missing and 36,581 of them were traced, the government stated.
