938 COVID-19 deaths reported in UK in biggest 1-day jump, death toll crosses 7,000

As many as 938 people died of coronavirus in the UK in the last 24 hours, marking the biggest daily jump in the number of deaths so far. The total death toll in the country has risen to 7,097. Further, a total of 232,708 people have been tested in the UK so far, out of which 60,733 tested positive.
