94 people collecting fuel from crashed oil tanker die as it explodes in Nigeria

At least 94 people have been killed after a crashed oil tanker exploded near locals who had gathered to collect fuel from it in Nigeria. The blast in Jigawa state happened late on Tuesday evening. Jigawa police spokesperson Shiisu Lawan Adam said that at least 50 people have been seriously injured, adding that the death toll is provisional.
