96 FIRs, 1995 vehicles challaned in Noida on 1st day of lockdown

Uttar Pradesh Police on Monday registered 96 FIRs and challaned 1,995 vehicles for violating lockdown and section 144 in Gautam Buddh Nagar district (Noida) amid coronavirus pandemic. Reportedly, 1,675 people have been put under surveillance, while 134 quarantined in Noida hospitals. As per the Health Ministry, Gautam Buddh Nagar has reported eight confirmed coronavirus cases so far.
