Bihar's Sasaram, Odisha's Balangir, Bihar's Buxar, Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur, and Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi were among the hottest cities till 4 pm on Friday, with temperatures around 47°C. Multiple cities from Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan featured in the top 100.
