98 trees to be replanted in Charkop, not outside Mumbai

Around 98 trees removed for Mumbai's Coastal Road North project in Charkop, Kandivali West, will be replanted within the locality instead of outside Mumbai. The first phase begins Wednesday at Datta Guru Udyan. Three sites in Sector 8 have been shortlisted. The initiative was driven by local activist Mili Shetty, BMC, and MHADA officials.
