99.5% stadium occupancy recorded in first 12 FIFA WC 2026 matches

The first 12 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026 have recorded an average stadium occupancy of 99.5%, FIFA announced on Monday. The tournament has attracted an average attendance of more than 63,000 fans per match across those 12 games, it added. The FIFA World Cup 2026 is being hosted across 16 cities in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
