99 killed in recent gang violence in Haiti's Cite Soleil: UN
The United Nations (UN) human rights office has said 99 people were killed recently amid fighting between rival gangs in the Cite Soleil area in Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince. It added that it's "deeply concerned by worsening violence" in Port-au-Prince. A UN human rights body's spokesperson said that 934 killings have been documented across the capital from January to June end.
