A boatman's family earned ₹30 crore during Mahakumbh, claims UP CM

Addressing the state Assembly, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said that a family with 130 boats earned ₹30 crore in 45 days during the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj. "In 45 days, one boat saved and earned ₹23 lakh. If you look at their daily savings, their income was around ₹50,000-₹52,000 per day for one boat," he further claimed.
