In order to show his gratitude to party president Sonia Gandhi, the Congress legislator from Andhra Pradesh, Shankar Rao, has made a 'Goddess Sonia' statue, depicting her as 'Telangana Talli' (Telangana mother). "I want to build the temple so that people can offer prayers to Sonia Gandhi everyday for ending the dominance of Seemandhra leadership over Telangana'' said Dr Rao.
